Once in Heilbronn, we caught another train that took us to Schwäbisch Hall. There, we got off, but we didn't really know where to go or what to do next. Thankfully, a nice lady saw that we were having some problems and gave us a map and some directions. We started walking to the Hotel Goldener Adler where we would pick up our Wohnheim (dorm) keys. The lady at the hotel was really nice and gave us directions to the Wohnheim. The city is absolutely beautiful, and the walk from the train station to the hotel and Wohnheim would have been lovely...had it not been mostly uphill and had we not have had about 50 pounds of luggage each. Anyway, by the time we got to the Wohnheim (Wohnheim 2, in particular), we were all very hot and sweaty.
It took a while to actually get into the Wohnheim, since we couldn't figure out how the keys worked for a while...but then someone came by inside and pulled open the door that we had been trying to pull from the other side. Lindsay and my room is on the bottom floor - the same floor as the kitchen. Jon's room is on the top/fourth floor. The rooms are very nice. They're bigger than we had expected. Our room has two beds, two desks, a cabinet, a refrigerator, two closets, and a bathroom. There's also two floor to ceiling windows that open all the way (with no screens, since there aren't really mosquitos in Germany). We're on the corner of the building, so we have the two big windows, whereas Jon only has one big window and on smaller (but circular...cool) window. Here's some pics of my and Lindsay's room:

Also, Jon met his roommate for the next month, Isaac...another UM student who happened to be in my Latin class last fall semester (as a freshman), and didn't like Latin. So I suggested that he switch to German before the drop/add deadline, which he did. And now he's in Germany with us!!! Wohoo!!! Here's Jon and Isaac walking to the grocery store.
We don't have too many pictures of the city yet, since we haven't gone out to explore much yet. We're all pretty tired and wanted to get settled in...but there will soon be more pictures and video...so look forward to that. =)
